BIRG Coffee Chat with Sean Law

Join the Biointerfaces Institute Research Group (BIRG) for an informal chat over coffee and pastries with Dr. Sean Law about his experiences in industry after his PhD and postdoc.

Applied research and data scientist Dr. Sean Law currently works with a multi-talented advanced technology and innovation team and serves as an advisor on an enterprise A.I. Council. He has experience producing cutting edge methodologies, building high-performance predictive models, and developing rapid prototypes.

Dr. Sean Law holds an Honours B.Sc. degree from York University in Applied Mathematics and Biology, received his doctorate from Michigan State University, and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Michigan. His scientific work focused on protein-protein interactions, protein-nucleic acid interactions, and developing state-of-the-art computational tools for understanding complex biological systems.
