September 30, 2020Researchers from the University of Michigan and the University of Maryland were awarded a $5 million grant to establish a new Center for Research on Complex Generics. BI Faculty Professor Anna Schwendeman will be the center co-director along with Professor James Polli from the University of Maryland.
The center is funded by the FDA Office of Generic Drugs and aims at bringing complex generic drugs and drug products to market faster.

With its innovative design, the labyrinth chip allows researchers to capture cells for molecular analysis so they can know what to target with treatments.
