Dr. Castro has been honored with the prestigious Javits Neuroscience Investigator Award (R37). This highly selective award recognizes investigators who have made substantial, cutting-edge contributions to neuroscience and neurology, demonstrated a record of rigorous and transparent research, and shown leadership and service within the scientific community.
