Chinnaiyan and Dr. Deepak Nagrath, has published a groundbreaking study identifying itaconate as a driver of ZFTA‑fusion ependymoma growth, an aggressive childhood brain tumor. Blocking this pathway dramatically reduced tumor growth in preclinical models, paving the way for potential new therapies.
