A novel biodegradable PLGA-based delivery system has been developed to enable long-term, localized release of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and their fragments. This platform addresses challenges in treating diseases like wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and glioblastoma (GBM) by providing sustained, controlled exposure with a single injection. Promising results in preclinical models suggest its potential as a transformative approach for mAb therapy in hard-to-reach tissues.
